The Palawan Hope Christian School (PHCS) joyously celebrated its 41st founding anniversary on October 26 and 27, with a two-day event that showcased the school’s journey “Anchored in God’s Faithfulness, Guided to Resilience; Celebrating the Journey of PHCS”.
The festivities commenced with a heartfelt simultaneous Thanksgiving Service on the first day, where guest speakers delivered messages of inspiration and faith.
Ptra. Greta Tita G. Tamayor, Ptr. Emmanuel C. Lao, and Ptr. Raphael Levi S. Arnan shared the word of God with preschool to grade 3 pupils, grades 4 to 6 pupils, and grades 7 to 12 students, respectively.
The Palawan Board of Trustees, school administrators, the faculty members and staff, and the General PTA Officers attended the program.
A special lunch fellowship at Ka Lui Restaurant was organized on the same day to express gratitude and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the PHCS faculty and staff.
Day two of the event was filled with fun and excitement as the pupils and students showcased their Tropical Attire during the Student Government (SG) Day.
The event featured various presentations, including the flaunting of Hawaiian outfits from selected pupils and students, a pageant showcasing preschoolers’ garb, the SG Got Talent, and captivating band performances.
SG Day wouldn’t be complete without the jalan-jalan, which allows all clubs and organizations within the school to raise funds by selling merchandise.
This not only added an element of fun to the celebration but also contributed to the various activities and initiatives organized by these groups.
The Pawalan Hope 41st founding anniversary was a resounding success, a testament to the school’s commitment to providing the best quality education to the children of Puerto Princesa, it was a beautiful reflection of the school’s resilience, faithfulness, and dedication to nurturing the potential of its students.
As the event concluded, the entire PHCS community expressed excitement about the future and the continued growth and success of this remarkable institution.
