In a heartwarming show of generosity, Palawan Hope Christian School (PHCS) provided support to the Unang Hakbang (UH) sa Pangarap Preschool, Inc., a program dedicated to serving the indigenous Palau’an and Bajao children.
“As part of our long-standing tradition of giving back, we organized a Christmas outreach program to bring joy and assistance to those in need. Through the generous contributions of our faculty and staff, we were able to gather school supplies, food items, and other essential materials to support the needs of the preschool’s learners.”— Ms. Nanette G. Heredero, principal of PHCS
On December 30, 2024, UH Director Ms. Hazel P. Abela also known as “Ate Bing” visited PHCS to receive the gifts, made possible through the efforts of Principal Ms. Nanette G. Heredero, Registrar Ms. Irene O. Caspillan, and Student Affairs Coordinator Ms. Jessica S. Labrador.
“We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of Palawan Hope Christian School. This act of kindness will significantly impact the lives of the children we serve,” said Ate Bing during the handover formality.
Ms. Irene expressed that the partnership with Unang Hakbang sa Pangarap highlights the importance of community-driven initiatives in fostering hope and providing meaningful support to the less fortunate, reminding us that the true spirit of Christmas lies in extending love and generosity to those who need it most.
“At Palawan Hope Christian School, we remain committed to making a difference, knowing that education and compassion go hand in hand in creating a brighter future for all,” she added.
